Thinking about professional development for 2013?
If you are wanting to enhance your not-for-profit career and looking for some professional development opportunities to help you do so, you can’t go past QUT’s Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS).
ACPNS sits within the Graduate School of Business at QUT, and offers two highly regarded courses: the Graduate Certificate in Business (Philanthropy & Nonprofit Studies), and a Master of Business (Philanthropy & Nonprofit Studies).
The courses are current, specific to the NFP industry, and cover the key topics you need to know to be an effective NFP manager. Social Money Solutions’ Tarryn can attest to the quality and practicality of the Graduate Certificate course – she completed it in 2004 and loved (almost) every minute!
The great news is that ACPNS have secured more than 10 new scholarships for students wanting to undertake this course, and also offer bursaries. So if you’ve ever thought about investing in yourself and undertaking this kind of study, but resources have held you back – now is the time!
For more information on the course and the scholarships available, go to http://www.qut.edu.au/business/about/research-centres/australian-centre-for-philanthropy-and-nonprofit-studies. 2013 enrolments close on the 18th January.
